About Us
We are a community of people of common heritage, one language and culture living in Switzerland, Geneva and environs.
Our mission is to:
– Bring the Yoruba people in Switzerland, Geneva and nearby environs together under one umbrella
– Promote the cultural values and preservation of the rich heritage of the Yoruba speaking people in Switzerland, irrespective of gender, nationality, colour, religion and what they belief.
– Support members in Switzerland, Geneva and nearby environs within the EU axis which may later be rooted in other Countries in the nearest future.

The Yoruba Community Switzerland (YCS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting and empowering the Yoruba people in Switzerland. Our mission is to celebrate and preserve Yoruba cultural heritage, promote educational opportunities, and foster a supportive, inclusive community for all members.
Core Values
Encourage and assist voluntary learning for those who are not fully familiar with the Yoruba language through voluntary coaching, including the children with their mother tongue which is the Yoruba language.
